Connect to trusted Wi-Fi at home, work and school to preserve mobile data.
Set streaming apps to a lower default quality on cellular.

Download music, podcasts and offline maps on Wi-Fi before you head out.

3. Staying within your speed tier

Because hitting the cap reduces your speed for the rest of the cycle, pacing matters. Check your usage in self-serve around the mid-cycle mark. If you’re regularly hitting the cap early, that’s a signal to consider a larger tier rather than spending the month throttled.

If mobile data doesn’t work right after activation, the APN (Access Point Name) may need setting. Most phones do this automatically, but if not, enter the official APN values in your phone’s mobile-network settings, then restart.
